Chris joined one of the UK’s largest agencies in 1991, and has run collection teams of 50 + agents, also setting up and managing trace and legal operations. He formed a new agency in 1999 with sites at Cheltenham, Glasgow and Dublin and introduced over 600 clients to third party collections as Head of Division for 12 years.
He joined Oriel in 2011 to help Oriel take the next strategic steps as Director responsible for the introduction of all new business streams. His role now also encompasses overall responsibility for all income generation and client management. He holds post-graduate qualifications in Management and Marketing. He is passionate about the maintenance of high service and standards throughout the industry.
Claire has over 25 years’ experience in Management Accounting and joined Oriel in January 2013.
Her previous roles have included Financial accounting and corporate recovery for British Coal, Eagle Star and Group 4. Claire has also worked in Consulting for a number of SMEs in Restructuring and turnaround projects.
Claire has overall responsibility for all support services including financial management, reporting, systems and IT management and security, and daily operational activity.
Rich has over 25 years’ experience of working in industries with a strong service culture, the bulk of those years being in highly regulated financial related businesses in both the UK and Australia.
Within excess of 10 years of service to Oriel, Rich has responsibility for Compliance, Training, Client Services and Trace functions. He is passionate about creating high quality teams, based on the philosophy that close enough isn’t good enough. At Oriel, Rich has created a team who simultaneously exceed the expectations of clients and regulators. He also project-led our transition from OFT regulation to FCA regulation and was heavily involved in the company’s drive to achieve BSI ISO27001 certification.
Harry has 8 years’ experience in the debt collection industry, two years as a Collections Consultant, two years as a Performance Leader, a further promotion to Performance Manager and for the last two years, our Head of Business Performance. Joining Oriel Collections in 2015, Harry has become a key asset in the Management team with his operational knowledge and team building expertise.
Harry’s role is heavily focused around achieving key performance targets for Oriel and our Clients. As well as maintaining and improving client relations Harry is also tasked with growing our large portfolio through strong performance, strategy management and innovative ideas. Harry works very closely with the company’s Performance Managers to ensure the quality we deliver is of the highest standard.
David has 15 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Project Management and Business Development, with an additional 5 years running his own successful business. David joined Oriel in spring 2022.
David has worked in a number of arenas and has delivered projects for major businesses across Europe, in IT, Software, and Business Change Management. David is highly process driven and commercially aware; he has managed sales, project teams and his own business in his career and is currently working on business improvement for Oriel in relation to client contracts, client reporting and managing audits for key clients.
